Happy New Years!

Did you have a good Christmas? Looking forward to a happy new year? Time for resolutions already?

It always comes up every year, time to make some new year’s resolutions. Some people don’t believe in them and others take it pretty seriously. Like most folks, I suppose I’m somewhere in between. It never hurts to try and improve ourselves even if perfection is a longshot.

So what are some of your new year’s resolutions? Did you succeed in fulfilling last year’s resolutions? In what ways do you think that this year will turn out different or the same?

  1. I am like you--somewhere in the middle. I don't think I made any for 2011. This year, I strive to be kind to everyone. Lofty goal, I know. But it's worth a try. What's yours?

  2. I tried making some resolutions for the first time this year. Having the internet to make me accountable actually helped me succeed with one of 'em. I think I might try to tackle two this year!

  3. I love the idea of starting fresh and that is the only reason why I even make resolutions, such a good time for that :)

  4. I don't do resolutions as much as set goals. Right now, it's a goal to knock out another book by summer!

  6. I've got a post about resolutions going live on the 31st. That seems a good time, right?

    Happy New Year, Mark.

  7. I will get my contracted book out on virtual shelves. I will get my contracted book out on virtual shelves. I will. I will. I will.

For me, I make realistic resolutions and work like a bat out of hell to achieve those, and also make more difficult resolutions and just hope I somehow manage to achieve them. It's a broken system. I openly admit it.

  8. I have a lot I'd like to accomiah in the next year, but I won't make resolutions for them. I did accomplish a good amount in 2011. Hope you have a fantastic New Year.

  9. 2012 is going to look very different.

I will probably be moving to another par of the country. But change can be good. It's going to be an adventure.

    Happy New Year Mark!

  10. I don't really set resolutions that I have to do, but I do like to look at the past year and set some goals so I have in mind what I want to work for in the new year. I hope you have a great year!
