Moving On Up

I'm over at Cryssa's blog and Cathrina's blog today as part of my ongoing online book blog tour! I'm only about a third of the way through my blog tour and have already been warmly overwhelmed by people's kind responses. It's been a thrilling experience to say the least!

In addition, guess who's on the top of two Goodreads lists for best new Historical fiction covers? I guess it's sometimes okay to judge a book by its cover ;) If you haven't already, please checkout my book and vote for it on Goodreads Lists! Thanks!

Viva Between Two Fires!

Viva Between Two Fires! Today I'm chilling at V. R. Barkowski's rocking blog. Viva always has such thoughtful posts, so go give it a peek. :)

Just for fun, a couple friends of mine called up some bookstores to inquire about whether they could come in to get my novel the day it debuts. To our happy surprise, every single one of them already said they'll be carrying it on their shelves on release day. I guess I shouldn't second guess my publisher when they said that my novel will literally be in bookstore nationwide next Tuesday. Fingers crossed!

Book Tour Dates!

Whew! The online book blog portion of my tour is going strong with a stopover at Cherie Reich's awesome blog today! Give it a look:)

Also, my initial book launch event and author signing is just a week-and-a-half away, scheduled for Saturday, August 27th at the Burlingame Library (Lane Room) at 2pm. We've already got a pretty big crowd attending, but there's always room for a couple more. If you're in the area, please stop on by. I'd love to see you and hang out!

T-Minus One Week!

It's one week and counting until my novel debuts on bookshelves with St. Martin's Press! Today I'm celebrating over at Peggy Eddleman's blog. Come on by and say 'hello.'

I also conducted a verification test on my Twitter accounting using an app that determines whether or not any of your follower might be fake or from spam accounts. I was glad to find out that of my over 10,000 followers, over 99% tested positive as good accounts with regular traffic belonging to real people. Always a good thing in my book! :)

At C. Lee McKenzie's Today

I'm over at C. Lee McKenzie's blog today where she's posted about my upcoming novel, Between Two Fires! I'm into my second week of my online blog tour and going strong. Head on over and see Lee's post about the book!

I'm actually going to get to meet Lee face to face when she comes to my book launch event and book signing on the 27th! It's so awesome to finally meet folks in person that I've spoken to for years via blogs and emails. Definitely looking forward to it!

Author Q&A

Today I'm chilling over at Elaine Moxon's terrific blog where she's interviewing me about my debut novel. She's super sweet and always asks intriguing questions when it comes to literature. Hope you enjoy it!

I'm also steadily getting more reviews on Goodreads, which is awesome especially since my novel has yet to come out. My publisher has been really good about giving out NetGalley e-versions of my novel to readers, and if you're one of the lucky ones to have received a copy, please consider leaving a review for Between Two Fires. Even bad reviews are helpful, as it boosts my novel's reach online. Of course, 5-star reads and reviews are most welcome, thanks!

Moving Right Along!

On today's stop of my book blog tour, I'm hanging out over at Nicola Burggraf's blog. Check out her post on Between Two Fires! She's given me plenty of encouraging advice along the way, which I super appreciate.

I'm also knee-deep into my summer rereading program. Actually , it's nothing official, I just like to make sure to reread some of my favorite books ever summer so that I can enjoy them again and again, and plumb the depths of their awesomeness! Right now I'm midway through my favorite series by Lawrence Durrell, the Alexandrian Quartet. Hope your summer reading is going well!
