Sorry, I’m late on this post (had Jury Duty yesterday), but
here’s it is, my celebration of the small things in life!
I’m celebrating my little son, because although he’s still
just a little guy, to me he’s the biggest thing in my life right now. Every day
he smiles more, “talks” to me, and becomes more and more of a little person.
Needless to say, my wife and I are loving every moment of it.
So what are some of the small things that keep you going?
What do you celebrate?
I know what you mean, Mark. Every day with our children is a gift.
ReplyDeleteYour son is a very handsome little guy!
Looks like he's chewing on you there!
ReplyDeleteHi Mark. Darling baby son. Congratulations to you and your wife.
ReplyDeleteWhat small things do I celebrate? Oh, just about everything! Music, thrift store shopping and finding a "treasure," the smile of a baby, the laughter of children, a special meal, a gorgeous sky, a breathtaking sunset, and on and on.
Thanks so much for following my blog. I'm going to follow yours now, too. Stop by whenever you can!
So cute! Really is a special time. Enjoy every minute of it.
ReplyDeleteMy son is sixteen and he's growing up to be a very nice young man. I'm grateful for that. :)
*sigh* Yeah, kids sure can change our lives. I heard once that being a parent is proof that our hearts really can exist outside of our bodies. I'm glad you're enjoying it so much now. There's a reason they don't come to us as teens. *grins evilly*
ReplyDeleteYour son looks really great!

ReplyDeleteMy family and relationships are what keep me going but I guess they are no small thing.

ReplyDeleteaw, your son is so cute! What a precious gift.
ReplyDeleteLook how cute he is! My kids keep me going too, it's amazing how much my perspective on life shifted when I had my son. That's one choice that I'll always be grateful I made. Being a parent is the best!
ReplyDeleteAww, My daughter is my world, she is 13 and about to fly off to L.A. to see her dad. My heart might stop. Besides her I celebrate beautiful things. Anywhere and everywhere I find something worth looking at. That and music, and motivating people. There are just so many things...
ReplyDeleteHey, sweet baby! And, with ginger hair! You are lucky, Mark!
ReplyDeleteI wrote about rejoicing in the small things in my post as well. Enjoy that baby! He will be shaving before you know it.
He has a glint in his eye for sure! Kids change everything in the best way.
ReplyDeleteYour son looks super cute. Enjoy this time with him.
